WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received a 2 Verified Petition from ALLEN BARTSHE, 1431 Cherry Drive, Orange, California, as Owner, EI..~R A. 'IItlLL, 747 North Los Angeles Street, Anaheim, California, as 5 Authorized Agent of a certain parcel of real property situated in the City of Ana- heim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: 4 I portion of Lot ?, Anaheim Extension, beginning at a point which is 5 N 0o 07· 30" E, 141.83 feet from the bolt marking the intersection of Placentia Avenue and East Center Street; thence S 81o 19· 30" W, 137.83 6 feet"to a points thence N 12° $$~ 20" N, 70.19 'feet to a point~ thence N 81° 19~ 30" E, 153.85 feet to a point in the .centerline of Placentia 7 Avenue, said centerline being the Easterly line of said Lot 71 thence along said centerline of said Placentia Avenue. Excepting therefnm that portion included in the public highway along the East side. 9 The applicant requests permission to use the present residential building 10 at 111 North Placentia Avenue as a Medical Building. 11 WHEKEAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim, on September 4, 1956, NOTICES of which said Public 12 Hearing were duly given as required by law and the provi.sions of the ANAHEIM ~UNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200{ and WHEREAS, Said Commision~ after due inspection, investigation and studies 14 made by itself and in its. behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said H'earing, does find and determine the following facts: 15 1. A Variance was granted for the sale of outdoor furniture some time 16 ago, but did not materialize due to the fact that with the widening of Placentia Avenue, the front portion 6f the existing dwelling 17 would have to be removed. 2. The present use proposed~ namely, a Medical Office would not 18 be detrimental to Other uses in the area. 3. The ap~licant realizes that the front of the building will have 19 to be revamped on account of street widening. 20 NOW, THERI~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT T~]~ ANAHEI~ CITY PLANNING CO~9~ISSION HEREBY GRANTS VARIANCE NO. 619 SUBJECT TO: 1. The deeding of 20 feet to the City of Anaheim for the widening of a2 Placentia Avenue. 2. The tnstallatlon of curbs, gutters and sidewalks on Placentia Avenue. 25 3.
