GRANTING VARIANCE NO. 620
1 W~iERFtIS, The City Planning Com~lission of the City of Anaheim has received a
Verified Petition from PAUL M. O'NEILL, 12531 Pleasant Place, Garden Grove,
2 California, as Owner of a certain parcel of real property situated in the CiTy of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Located on the West side of Gilbert Street, approximately 300 feet North
4 of Ball Road and is presently zoned as R-3, MULTIPL~-FA~ILY~RESIDENTIAL.
Lot 4 of Tentative Tract No. 3091.

The applicant requests permission to erect a Medical Building with off-
6 street parking.
7 WHEP.~AS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at' the City
Hall in'the City of Anaheim, 6n"September 4, 1955, NOTICES of which said Public
8 Hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of the ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and

WHI~RBAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
10 made by itself and in its b~half and after due consideration of all evidence and
reports offered at Said Hearing, does find and determine the following facts:

1. This lot is directly across Gilbert Street from a new hospital being
lZ erected.
2. It w~s recently reclassified to R-3, MULTIPLE-FAMILY-RESIDENTIAL
19 but the subdivider now believes that more Medical Offices are
needed in the area now that the hospital is under construction.
14 3. The granting of the Variance should not be detrimental to other
perties in the area.
