WHeReAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property situated
in the City of Ansheim, County of Orange, State of California~ described as follows:
SmA of Me NW} of Section 24, T4S, R10W, S.B.B. & M., in the Rancho
San Juan Cajon de Santa Aha in the Coanty of Orange, State of Cali-
fornia, as per map recorded in Book 51, Page 10 of Miscellaneous
in the office of the Cumty Recorder of said County. ]~xcept the West
10 acres of the subject property, also the North 10 acres of the
subject property.
The applicant, HARRY H. ~, 344 North Camden Drive, ~everly Hills,
California, as Owner, LORMN ~-. WAGNER RM2%LTY COMPANY, 1050 South
Los Angeles Street, Anahe4m, California, as Authorized Agent, requests
that the subject property be reclassified from R-A, R~SID~.NTIAL
AGRICULTURAL to M-2, H~AV~ 5~NUFACl~JRING.
WHMR~AS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Ansheim upon said V~RIFI~D P~TITION of P~ECLASSIFICATION
NO. F-56-57-28 on the 7th day of January , 1957 , NOTICB of which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANAHMIM MUNICIPAL COD~, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of al/ evidence
and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts:
1. The property to the West is presently classified as M~i, LIGHT
MANUFACTURING and will be occupied by a light industrial plant.
2. This area has been considered as best suitable for light indus-
trial uses.
3. The plant that proposes to use the subject property is classi-
fied by the Anaheim MUnicipal Code to as an M-2 use, which might
be detrimental to M-1 uses in the area.
