Vfl{ER~S, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received a
2 Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Californi.n, described as follow
Lot 19 of Anaheim Er. tension and further described as the Northeast corner
4 of Ball Road and South East Street.
5 The applicants, DAVID CASTY and HYMAN RUDOFSk~Y, 185 Spencer Avenue, Chelsea,
Massachusetts, as Owners, RICTIARD ~RCLAY, 343 Hawthorne Way, Hawthxne,
6 California, as Authorized Agent, requests that the above property be
reclassified from R~A, RESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL to M-l, LIGHT MAN~JFACTURING.

WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City
8 Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION NO.
F~-56-57-14 on the 18th day of March, 1957, NOTICES of which said Public Hearing
9 were duly given as required by law and the provisions of the ANAHEIM 5FONICIPAL
CODE, Section 9200~ and

WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
11 made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and
reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts:

1. This application was previously withdrawn by the applicant with per-
15 mission granted by the City Council to bring up again at a later date.
2. The subject property has M~i, LIGHT MANUFACTURING on the West, M-1 on
14 the South, R-1 on the North and R-a on the East.
3. Opposition was experienced by the protests of the R-1 residents.'
15 4. The proponents now propose to erect an earth bern~ 10 feet high, topped
by trees and a 6 foot fence and deed to the R-1 properties 30 feet more
16 in their rear yards, drain to a sump, which will in turn Orain to a
proposed industrial street, and landscape the berm or allow the proDerty
17 owners to landscape as they desire.
NOW, T~U:-REFORE, H~ IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
18 H~REBY FORWARDS TO TFffi CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, RECLASSIFICATION NO.
F~56-57-14 WITHOUT RECOMMENDATION.
