GRANTING VARIANCR NO. 745
i WHaRF_AS: The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
Verified Petition from DOYI/~ and SHIELDS, 831 South Manchester Avenue, Anaheim,
2 California, as Owners of a certain parcel of real property situated in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:

Beginning at the Southwest corner of said lot being . '-so the inter-
4 section of the centerline of. Euclid and Ball Roads: thence Northerly
200 feet to a point on said centerline of Euclid Avenue; thence Eas-
5 terly on , line parallel with the centerline of Ball Road and the
Southerly lime of said lot a distance of 200 feet to a point; thence
6 Southerly in a line parallel' with The 'c~nterline of Euclid Avenue and
the Westerly line of said 1orca distance of 200 feet to a point on the
7 centerline of Ball Road which is the Southerly line of Lot 23 thence
Westerly 200 feet along said line to the point of beginning, and fur-
8 ther described as being the Northeast corner of Euclid Avenue and Ball
Road.
The applicant requests permission to erect a Service Station.

W}~RRAS, The CiW Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City
11 City Anaheim at an Adjourned Regular Meeting, on April 22, 1957,

NOTICES of which said Public Hearing were duly given as required by law, amd the
12 provisions of the ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
15 WHeReAS.,. Said Commission~ after due inspection, investigation and studies
~ade by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and
lZi reports made at said Hearing, does find and determine the following facts:
15 1. The subject property is .presently classified as C-i, N~IGHBORHOOD
CO~RCIAL some time ago, but no development has ever taken place.
16 2. A Service Station was granted on the opposite corner to the West.
3'. The granting of the Variance should not be detrimental~o other
17 properties in the area.
18 NOW, THEREFORE, B~ IT RESOLVED THAT TPLE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING CON~ISSION
HERI~BY GRANTS VARIANCE NO. 745 SUBJECT TO:

1. The deeding to the City of Anaheim of 20 feet along Ball Road and Euclid
20 Avenue for street widening.
2. Engineering Requirements.
