WHEREAS, Tile City Planning Commission of the CitT of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
All that certain land situated in the Rancho Los Coyotes, County of Or--ge,
State of California, described as follows, to wit: Beg£nniv~ at the South-
west corner of the S½ of the SE~ of the SW} of Section ll, T4S, RllW, S.B.
B. & M., ru--in~ thence Northerly alon~ the Westerly line of said S} of the
SE} of the S~}, 665.05 feet more or less to the Northerly line o£ said S}
of the SE} of the SW}; thence Easterly along the sald~Northerly line, 296 feet;
thence Southerly parallel with the Westerly line of the S½ of the SE} of the
SW}, 144.6 feet; thence Westerly parallel with the Northerly line off said S½,
of the SE} of the SW} 230 feet to a point 66 feet Easterly of the Westerly
line of said S½ of the S~-} of the SW}; thence Southerly parallel with the
Westerly llne of the said S½ of the SE} of the SW}, to the Southerly line of

The applicants, SCOTT M. and ~NCE E. NAY, 2834 California Street, Hunting-
ton Park, California, as Owners, ~Y N. STOUT, 9103 Stanton Avenue, Anaheim,
California, as Authorized Agent, request that their property he reclassified
from R-A, RESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL to C-l, NRIGRBORHO~ C(I~ERCIAL.
WHERE.iS.. The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim uy^n said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F~6-57-71 on the6th day of May , 1957 , NOTICE of which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANAf~It MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WH~EIS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation a~d studies
made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence
and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts:
1. The property within 200 feet is presently classified as C-I and
Variance for c,~.....ercial use ~s ~anted by the County on property to
the ~ast.
2. The property is on Lincoln Avenue, a state highway, and not particular-
ly suitable for residential use.
3. It was the feelin~ of the staff that some indication should have been
given as to the possible use of the land due to the peculiar shape of the
parcel.
