A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLAITNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION

WHEREAS, The City Pl-nnlng Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
That portion of Lot 16 of the OrangewoodTract described as: Beginning at the North-
east corner of Lot 16, 293 feet to the Iron Pipe; thence West 285 feet p~all to
the North line of Lot 16 to the Iron Pipe; thence North 293 feet parallel to the East
line of Lot 16 to OrangewoodAvenue; thence East 285 feet to the point of beg{~ning,
containing 1.92 acres more or less. Lot 16 of the Ozangewood Tract, excepting 1.92
acres, beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 16; thence South along the East
line 293 feet to s~n iron pipe; thence West 285 feet parallel to the North line; thence
to an Iron ~ipe; thence North 293 feet parallel to the East line of 0rs~ewood Avenue?
thence East 285 feet to the point of beginning, being further described as the Seth-
east corner of Or~gewood Avenue a~d Haster Street.
The applicants, R..~o HAST~, 13092 O£angewood Avenue, ;maheim, California, ~nd
ANNI~ K. HASTER, 2214 Heliotrope Avenue, Santa Ana, California, as Owners, request
that their properties as described above be reclassified from R~A, R~SIDENTIALA~I,
CULTURAL to R-3~ MULTIPLE FAMILY Pd~$IDENTIAL.
WHEREAS, The City Pl.~nning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION
NO. le-55~Z~.~~ on the 17th day of June , 19 57. NOTICE of which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law andthe provisions of the
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section ~200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence
and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts:
1. These two properties were requested by the Commission for inclusion, if
possible, when the consideration of the rezoning of Tract No. 2653 w~s
considered.
2. The owners applied for Reclassification to R~3, Multiple Family Residential.
3. There can be a need for Multiple residential in th{~ area due to D~neyland
and other developments in the area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
HEREBY RECOMMENDS TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION
