~NTING VARIANCE NO, 825
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the Owner(s) of a certain parcel of real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as f.~llows:
The West 150 feet of the East 345 feet of the South 250 feet of the Southeast q,,ar-
ter of the Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 22, Township 4
South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. ~ M., ~nd further described as being on the North side
of Katella Avenue between west Street and Harbor Boule~a-rd.
Petitioner: Kenneth K. Rimes, 535 West HampshLre, Anaheim, Califomnia.
WHEF~EAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Mall in the City of Anaheim, on September 16%'?1957, NOTICES of which said
Public Hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of the ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspe,tion, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and
reports offered at said Hearing, does find and determine %he following facts:
1. The present classificat.~am of the property is C-i, Neighborhood Commercial.
2, Other variances have been granted in the same ares for Motels.
3. With the Di-':neyland area considered as a convention area as well as an
amusement and educational area such accomodations are still believed
necessary.
4. The applicant has recently completed another attractive motel so that
the quality of the project c~n be j,,dged.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING C0~ISSION
HEREBY GRAATS VARIANCE NO. 825, SUB, CT TO:
1. The erection of the building in accordance with the plans presented.
Katella Road for street widening.
