W~rg~F~AS, The City Pl-~ning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Califo.-mia, described as follows:
That portion of the Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 18, T4S,
R10~, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as per map recorded in book 51, page 10 of Miscel-
laneous Maps, in tl.e office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California,
described as follows: Beginning at ~ point in the South line of said Section, distant
thereon x~ 294.00 feet ~ast of the Southwest corner thereof and running thence North
0° 17~ 20" ~-ast, parallel with the West line of said Section, 236.00 feet to the
Southwest corner of Lot 7, of Tract No. 1446, as shown on a m~p thereof recorded in
Book 72, at pages 5 and 6 of Miscellaneous Maps; thence South $9· 59r 47" ~.ast,
along the South line of said Tract No. 1446, 200.00 feet; thence South 0o 17r 20"
West, parallel with the West line of said Section, 236.00 feet to the South line of
said Section; thence North 89° 59~ 47" West 200.00 feet to the point of beginning;
and further described as 2563-2555 Ball Road, A~mheim, C~lifernia.
N. 3- Dovalis and James G. Gantes, 9946 Magnolia Avenue, Anaheim, California, as
Owners, request that their property be reclassified from R-A, Residential Agricul-
tural, to C-i, Neighbnrhood Commercial.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F- 57-58-14 on the 14th day of October , 19 57, NOTICE of which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANAHEIM M1/NICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
W~q~TAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence
and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following fac%s:
1. The subject property is presently classified as R-A, ReA'idential Agricultural,
a transitional zone.
2. The property is near the intersection of Magnolia Avenue and Ball Road, both
major thoroughfares.
3. The corner property and the property across the street are presently zoned as
commercial.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT TEE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
HEREBY RECOMMENDS TO TRE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F- 57-58-14 BE APP~0VED, SUB~CI £0:
1. The deed(~g to the City of Anahei~ of ~0 feet from the centerline of Ball Road

2. The filing of C-l, Standard Deed Restrictions of the City of Anaheim.
