6~LANTING VARIANCE NO. 890,
WHEREAS, The City Pl-n~ing Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the Owner Is) of a certain parcel of real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Commencing at a point inthe Westerly line of Placentia Avenue distant thereon 200
feet Northerly from its intersection with the Northwesterly line of Santa Ana
Street; running thence South along said westerly line 200 feet to the Northwesterly
line of said Santa Ana Street; thence Southwesterly along said Northwesterly line
55 feet; .thence Northwesterly at right angles to said Northwesterly line to an
intersection with the line parallel with the .Northwesterly line of said Santa Ama
Street which passzs through the point of beginuingl; thence Northesaterly to said point
o f be ginning.

WHEREAS, The City Plmn-ing Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim, on January 6, 1958, NOTICES of which said
Public Hearing were duly given as 'required by law and the provisions of %he ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said CommiSsion, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and
reporls offered at said Hearing, does find and determine the following facts:
1. This lot is of peculiar shape having 200 ft. frontage on Placentia Ave. with
a shallow depth ranging from 55 ft. at one end to approximately 125 ft. at the
otb er end.
2. It is proposed to erect a 6 ft. block wall along the North and West property lines.
3. The property is presently zoned as R-A, Residential Agricultural, and is at the
corner of Santa Ana St. and Rlacentia Ave., across from a Service Station.
4. The granting of the variance should not be detrimental to other properties in the area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAREIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
HEREBY GRANTS VARIANCE NO. 890, for a Retail Milk Drive-In, subject to:
1. The deeding to the City of Anaheim of 53 feet from the centerline of Placentia
Avenue for street widening.
2. The deeding to the City of Anaheim of 32 feet from the centerline of East Santa
Aha Street for street widening.
3. No truck deliveries of m.Alk to be made between 9 P.M. and 7 A.M.
4. Erection of the buildings in accordance with the plans presented.
5. Engineering requirements.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this 6th day of
January, 1958.
