PC 1957-1958-165 A RESOLUTION 0F T~E CITY PLANNING COMMISSION 0F T~E CITY 0F ANA~IM RECOMMENDING TO T~E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION NO. - - WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of ~.he City of ;tuaheim has received a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property situated in the City of Axe,helm, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: The South 277 feet of the South two acres o£ the East three acres of Lot l, Kellogg Homestead Tract in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as per Book 8, Page 51, of Miscellan~ouw Maps, re~ords of Orange County. The property is further described as being on the West s~e of South Euclid Avenue approximately 200 feet ~outh of Ball Road. The applicants, 0rval M. s~ Madge Halvorsen, 10021 Euclid Avenue, Anaheim, C~%lifornia, request that the abo~ property be reclassified from R-A, Residential Agricultural to C-l, Neighborhood Commercial. WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION o* RECLASSIFICATION NO. F-57-58-29 on %ho 20th day of January , 1958 , NOTICE of which said Public Heari,'.g was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the ANAHELM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts: 1. Thc propertyis presently zoned R-A, a transitional zonc. 2. The property across the street to the east is in the process of being reclassi- fied to C-1. $. The owner proposes to develop the property himself. 4. There are other commercial zoned properties at the northeast and northwest corners of Ball Road. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED. THAT T~E ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION HEREBy RECOMMENDS TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF TRE CITY OF ANAREiM THAT RECLASSIFICATION NO. F-57-58-29 B~ A/~PROVHD, F(~ C-'1, Neighborhood Commercial, Subject To: 1. The deeding to the City of Anaheim of 53 feet from the centerline of W-uclid Avenue for street widening. 2. The filing of Standard C-1 Deed Restrictions of the City of Anaheim. -~. The erection of a 6 foot fence on the south and west property lines as a buffer from the R-i, Single Family Residences. 4. ~n§ineer {ng requirements.
