A RE~OLUTION OF ~%]E CITY PLANNING CO~ISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEII~ THAT RECLASSIFICATION

WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Beginn/n§ at the Northwest corner of the N~ of The N~} of SeCtion 14, T4S, RllW,
S.B.B. & M. and running ~ast along the North line of said NE} 193 feet to a point;
thence South parallel with the Westerly line of said NB~ 451.4 feet to a point;
thence West parallel with t.-'.le North l~ne of the NB} 193 feet To a point on the
West 1Lne of the said NB~ of the NB}; thence North alorg said West line 451.4 feet
to the point of beginning; containing 2.00 acres.
The applicant, L. H. Booth, P.O. Box 196, Joshua Tree, California, as Owner,
requests that the above property be reclassified from R-A, Residential Agricultural,
to C-3, Heavy Commercial.
WHF/~.AS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F-56-57-5 on the 5th day of May , 1958 , NOTICE of which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made bM itself and in its behalf, and after due ~.onsideration of all evidence
and reports offered at said Hearings, does fin~ ~.md determine the following facts:
1. The property was originally improved with ~ Service Station, but upon acquisi-
tion of land by the State for the widening of Lincoln Avenue, the Service
Station was torn down.
2. The State has also acquired 40 feet of property on the West for the possiblc
extension of Grand Avenue for a limited distance to the South.
3. It would appear that a portion of the property should be given the classifica-
tion originally possessed,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNIN~ COMMISSION
HEREBY RECOMMENDS TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F-56-57-5 pm APPROVED FOR A PORTION OF '~[~ PARCEL 276 P~BT BAC~ FROM TPLB

AGRICULTURAL UNTIL TH~ APPLICANT HAS A SPECIFIC USB FOR SAMB.
