WHERF..~S, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
,~;a?..Verified,'.Pe'%ition from ,the~Owner(s) of a certain parcel of real property situated
'in the' city ~f ~heim'', County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
The Easterly 400 feet of the Southerly 290 feet of ~he W~. of the SB~ of the
of Section 22, T4S, R10k/, S.B~. & bi., and further described as 721 West Katella Avenue.

WHEREAS, The City Planning CommisSion did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in tho City of Anaheim, on June 16, 1958, NOTICES of which said
Public Hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of the ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Com.:'~ssion, aftex, due inspection, i~."~tigation and studies
made bF itself and in its half and after due ecnsideratio. /of all evidence and
reports offered at said Hearing, does find and determine the following facts:
1. Other variances have been granted ~o the same applic~nt for motels in the
same Disneyland area.
2. Ill addition to this 30 room motel and manager's apartment, the applicant desires
to build a restaurant to accomodate pairons at ti]ese motels and other transient
customers.
3. There will be 4,000 sq[~re feet i~ the restamrant, with ~0 parking spaces.
4.The Eranting of the variance shou%d not be detrimental to othsr properties in
the area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
HEREBY GRANTS V~h~IANCB 985 PeR A MOTBL, ~tANAGW. R~S QUAATERS, ~WIN~IING POOL, AND A
R~STAURANT, SUBJECT TO:
1. The construction of the ~otel in accordance with the plans presented.
2. The construction of the Restaurant in accordance with the plm~s presented.
3. The deeding to the City of Anaheim of 60 feet from the centerline of Katella
Avenue for street widening.
4. The building line setback to be 20 feet minimum from the property line on
Katella Avenue,
5. Improvements on Katella Avenue as required by the City Hngineer.
