A RESOLUTION OF TH~ CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
KECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F~58-59-31 B~- APPROVED.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received a
Verified Petition from the property ow/]er of certain real property situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Parcel 1: That portion of the NW~ of the SW~ of Section 4, T4S, R10W, S.B.B.
& M., described as follows: Beginning at the SE corner of the h"6~ of the SW~ of
said section, being the intersection of the center lines of Euclid Avenue and Romneya
Drive, as shown on a map ~of Tract No. 1993 recorded in Book 64, Pages 45 and 46 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; thence South 89° 42' 57"
~.ast 282.25 feet along the center line of said Romneya Drive; thence North 0° 01'
23" West 665.36 feet to the Southerly line of said Tract No. 1993; thence North 89°
43~ 22" West 281.52 feet along the Southerly line of said Tract No. 1993 and its
Westerly prolongation to the center line of said Euclid Avenue; thence South 0° 02'
23" West 665,32 feet to the point of beginning; and further described as the NE corner
of Euclid & Romneya, the ~.uclid frontage, be reclassified from R-A, RE. SIDENTIAL to
C-l, NEIGHBORHOOD CO~%L~RCIA~L (Business and Professional Development Use); and Parcel
2: That p~rtion of the NW~ of the SW~ of Section 4, T4S, R10W, S.B.B. & M., described
as follows: Commencing at the SW corner of the NW~ of the SW~l of said section,
being the intersection of the center lines of Euclid Avenue, and Rcmneya Drive, as
shown on a map of Tract No. 1993 recorded in Book 64, Pages 45 and 46 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California; thence South 89° 42t 57n E.'s~' 282.25
feet along the center line of said Roraneya Drive to the true point of beginning;
thence North 0o 01~ 23" West 665.36 feet to the Southerly line of said Tract No.
1993; thence South 89° 43' 22" East 395.00 feet to an angle point in the boundary
of said Tract No. 1993; thence South 0° 01' 23" East 665.43 feet to the Southwest-
erly corner of Tract No. 1994, a~ shown on a map recorded in Book 64, Pa~es 47 and 48
of Miscellaneous Maps, being a point in the center line of said Romneya Drive;
thence North 89° 42~ 57" West 395.00 feet ~o the zrue po~nZ of beginning, and further
described as the N/ corner of ~uclid and Romneya, the rear 395 feet of the property
be reclassified from R-A, RESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL to P-l, PARKING.
The applicant, Raymong J. Schirm, 1200 N. Euclid Avenue, Anaheim, California,
as Owner, Horace P. Camp, 1234 E. Center Street, Anaheim, California, as Authorized
Agent, requests that the above property be reclassified for a depth of 28i.52 feet
from the center line of North Euclid Avenue from R-A, R~SIDMNTIAL AGRICULTURAL to
C-1 NBIGHBOPJ{00D COMMBRC/~AL for offices, and the rear 395 feet to P-l, PARKING.
WH~RAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearlng at the City
Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said V~RIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION NO.
~-$8-$9-31 on the l~th day of November, 1958, NOTICE of which said Public Hearing
was duly given as required by law an~ the provisions of the ANAHEIM NKONICIPAL CODE,
Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in i~s behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and
reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts;
1. This recla.¢,sification is in line with the Proposed New Zoning Ordinancd.
2. It will b~ located across the street from a hospital with similar uses facing
this property.
3. The p~rtion requested for P-l, PARKING, if no~ used for this purpose, may be
used for R-3 ~ULTIPLE ~AMILY R~SID~NTIAL
NOW, THEREFORE, B~ IT P~SOLV~D THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
HEREBY RECOM~I~-~DS TO THE CITY COUNCIL 0P. THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT R~CLASSIPICATION
NO. P-58-59-/7~ BE A~PROV~D, subjec~-~-o: .....
1. If any portion of the P-1 ~AR~INGZone is used for R-3, a Tentative
Tzact Map must be filed.
2. Any Multiple Family Residential built, if adjoining R-1 zoned
prope.rty~ must be kept to oniy one story.
