WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the Owner(s) of a certain parcel of real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State oI California, described as follows:
South 40 feet of Lot 6 and the North 20.31 feet of Lot 7, Tract No. 230, Sewett
Subdivision, recorded in Book 13, Page 25, Miscellaneous Maps of Ora~e County,
and further described as 890 South Los Angeles Street.

WHEREAS, The City PlanninE Commission did hold a Ihlblic Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim, on July 7, 1958, NOTICES of which said
Public Hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of the ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and
reports offered at said Hearing, does find and determine the following facts:
1. There is other ~ommercial property in the area.
2. The proposed use should not have a detrimental effect on the area.
NOW, T~0RE, BE IT RESOLVF~D THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLA1TRING COMMISSION
H~REBY GRANTS VARIANCE NO. 997 FOR A BF~AUTY SALON TO B~ 7.STABLISH~D IN A R~SID~NC~
SUBJECT TO:
1. The development of the property in accordance wi~ the plans presented.
2. That the parking area be improved and blacktopped.
3. The Enginee£ing Committee,s requirements of dedicat,:ion of 53 feet from the
centerline of Los Angeles Street to the City of Anaheim for street widening
purposes,
