A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION
NO, P-58-59-46 SBNT TO '~}[~ CITYCOUNCIL WITIIOUT RBCD~IM~NDAT'ION.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Lots 17 and 18 of Tract No. 3008 further described as being thc Southwest
corner of ~uclid Avenue and Catherine Drive.
The Applicant Euclid Property Management, Inc., 206 La Plaza, Anaheim, California,
A. M. Shinn, President, request that the subject property be reclassified from
C-l, NEIGHBOILHOOD COMMHR~IAL to C~3, I.LHAVY COMM~{CIAL to permit the erection of a
Service Station.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F- 58-59-46 on the 5th day of January , 19 59, NOTICE of which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and tho pro,,isions of the
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence
and reports offered at'said Hearings, does find and.determine the following facts:
1. The applicant has the offer of a lease by a Major Oil Company.
2. Behind the service station and the R~3 development there will be a
buffer strip of 100 feet of
3. There was a divided opinion among the CommiSsion as to whether this
reclassification should be approved.
