a Verified Petition from the property ®Whet(s) of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
PARCEL 1: The Southerly 407.32 feet of the Westerly 123.94 feet of tile following:
That portion of Lot 6 of Anaheim Extension, in the City of Anaheim, as shown on a
map of survey made by William Hamel filed for record in the office of the County
Recorder of Los Angeles County, California, bounded and described as follows~
Beginning at a point at the Southerly line of said Lot 6, distant thereon South
74° 30r West 395.5 feet from the Southeast corner of said lot, and running thence
North 15° 24~r West 1103.88 feet; thence South 15' 24~ East 1153.04 feet to the
Southerly line of said lot; thence North 74° 30" East along said Southerly line
397.9 feet to the point of beginning; EXCEPTING THEREFROM thatx}m~x~nxi~
portion lying within the lines of Center Street as aid street is shown on a map
extension.
PARCEL 2: A portion of Lot 6 of Anaheim Extension, as shown on a map of survey
made by William Hamel, signed and acknowledged by Alfred Robinson, Trustee, on
December 11, 1868, filed in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County,
California, and described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the center
of Center Street, as shown on said map with the Westerly line or the Southerly
extension thereof of the tract of land conveyed by James B. Mulvey to Cornelia
Mulvey, et al, by deed redorded January 6, 1934 in Book 650, Page 497, Official
Records, in the office of the C~unty Recorder of said Orange County; being the
Westerly line or the Southerky extension thereof of land described, Certificate
of Title No. 9794, issued by the Registrar of Titles of said Orange County, on
December 24, 1943; thence South 74° 30~ West along the Center line of Center Street,
4.86 feet; thence North 14° 43~ West 407.38 feet to a point in the Westerly line
of said tract of land conveyed by the deed above mentioned, being the Westerly
line of said land described in a Registrares Certificate of Title above mentioned,
said point being North 15°' 24~ West 407.32 feet from the point of ~ix~u~
beginning; thence South 15° 74~ East 407.32 feet to the point of beginning; and
further described as 1621-29 East Center Street. The property is presently
classified R-3, MULTIPLE PYuMILYRESIDENTIAL.
The Applicant, 3. H. MUL%~Y, as Owner, 1627 East Center ~i~, Street, Anaheim,
California, requests that the subject property be beclassified from R-3, MULTIPLE
FAMILY RESIDeNTIAL to C-i, NEIGHBORH~)D COMM~XCIAL.
WHthlPJkS~ The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City
Hall in the City of An~a¢im upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION NO.
~-58-59-73 on the 16th day of March, 1959, NOTICE of which said Public Hearing was
duly given as required by law and the provisions of the ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL COD~,
Section 9200; and

made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and
reports offered at said Hearing§, does find and determine the following facts:
1. This request was originally considered under Variance No. 1067 and referred
back to the Planning Commission by the City Council to be considered as a reclassifi:ation.
2. The properties fronting on East Center S~reet directly to the West are presently
classifie~ as C~,l, NEIGIiBORHOOD COMMERCIAL
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT ~ AN.~-I~IM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION HEREBY
RECOMMENDS TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT R~CLASSIPICATION ~0. F-58-$9-73
be reclassified from R-3, MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL to C-i, N~IGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL for
a depth of 168 feet from the K~ center line of Bast Center Street and be subject to:
1. T~ne dedication of 53 feet to the City of Anaheim for street widening from
the center line of Mast Center Street.
2. ~"ne installation of sidewalks.
3. %~ne payment of $2.00 per fron'~ foot for street lighting purposes.
4. That the above requirements be accomplished within 90 days.
