A RESOLUTION 0F THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION 0F THE CITY 0F ANAHEIM
RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 0F ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F-58-59-81 BE DENIED.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from tho property owner(s) of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
A portion of Lot 32, Anaheim Extension having a frontage bordering on the Santa Aha
Freeway of 273.2S feet and having a depth of lll.gB feet measured at right angles to
SaSh West Street and a fron'~age of 249.51 feet on South West Street terminating at the
junction with the Preeway line. ; ~m propert~ is triangular shape.
~]e Applicant, JERRY ~AL~, 2411 West Lincoln Avenue, Anaheim, California requests
that the subject proper'tM be rezoned from R-A, R~SIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL to R-3,
MULTIPLE ~ MILY RESIDENTIAL.
WHEREAS, Tho City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F- 58-59-81 on the 20th day of April , 19 59, NOTICE of which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and tho provisions of tho
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEI{EAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence
and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts:
1. ~is is a lot ori~h~ally sold to the State Highway Department and recently resold
at Public Auction to this applicant.
2. The applicant proposes to develop same wi~h four single story apartment units.
3. This would be the firs~ intrusion of this ~ype of u~e in the area as it is
presently developed with only single family residences.
4. The other residences Northerly from this property are fine homes.
5. ~is would be spot zongin to zone one lo~.
NOW,/THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
