A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION

WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
The Westerly 220 feet of the following: ConmenCing at s point 219.25 feet South of the Northwest
corner of the South half of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 12, Townshi~x
4 South, Range l0 West, S.B.B. & M., running thence South 117 feet; thence East 1320 feet to the
Hast line of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section 12; thence North 117
feet; thence West 1320 feet to' the point of beginning.
The applicant, SEVERIANO G. JIM~NEZ, 412 North Placentia Avenue, Anaheim, Calif., as Owner,
Russel O. Ruquet, 127 W.' Broadway, Anaheim, Calif., as Authorized Agent, request that the
subje~property be reclassified from R-A, RESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL~ to C-2, GENERAL COMMERCIAL
to permit a nursery.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F-58_59_84 on the 27th day of April , 19 59 , NOTICE of which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence
and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts:
1. The subject property is presently classified as R-A, RESIDENTIAL AGRICUTURAL.
~. A Variance No. 826 was granted ~or the storage of picking trucks for a period of one year.
The expiration date was December 1, 1958.
The applicant now desires to use the property for a nursery.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
HEREBY RECOMMENDS TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION

GENERAL COMMERCIAL, subject to:

2, The dedication of 53 ft, from the centerline of Placentia Ave, to the City of Anaheim
( Notez .A~:d~dicatton of 50 ft, was secured under Variance No, 826)
3, Prepare street improvement plans and install all improvements in accordance with standard
approved plans on file in the Office of the City Engineer,
4, The payment of.$2,00 per front foot for street lighting purposes,
5, A 90 day time limit for the accomplishment of the above conditions.
