A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF TH~ CITY OF ANAHEI~ GRANTING. VARIANCR NO. 1114.
WHEREAS,-The City Planning CGmmission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Pe%itlon from the Owner(s) of a certain parcel of real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
~t One Of Tract No. 1948 as show~ on a Map recorded in Book 58, Pages 41, 42 and 43 of
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California.
The Appllca~.}C MARTIN SORKIN, 1180 North Los fmgelea Street, Anaheim, California.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City'Hall in the City of Anaheim, on June 2, 1959 NOTICESof which said
Public Hearing were duly givenas required by law and the provisions of ~he ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE,'S~otion 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, a~ter due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in 'its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and
· reports offere~ at said Hearing, does find and determine the following f&cts:
1. This dwelling is on a lot 130 fcet deep'with an alley at the rear.
2. The property to the north has been prcposed, for commercial uses and a' portion of same
is presently so zoned.
3. There is a small Shopping Center 'across-the street.
4. The present dwelling will be kept residential in appearance.
5. The proposed sign will be limited 'in size.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITYPLANNING CON~XSSION
HEREBY GRANTS .VARIANCE'NO. 1114, subjec~ to::.
1. The dedication of 53 feet to the City of Anaheim from the center line of Magnolia
Avenue.
2. The paymen~ of $2.00 per front foot for street lighting purposes.
3. ~ront yard to be maintained similar to other residences in the area,
4.Improved parking to be provided as shown on plot plan.
5.Any sign to be limited to 8" x 12"
