A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
RECOMMF/~DING TO THE CITY C0D~CIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION
NO. P-58-59-106 BE APPROVED,
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
PARCEL 1. The west 300 feet of the southeast quarter of the southeast quarter of the
northwest quarter of Section 26, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S. B. B. & M. Except the
East 98 feet of the south 160 feet.
PARCEL 2. 2]le east 280 feet of the west 300 feet of the south 10 feet of the northeast
quarter of the southeast quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 26, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, S. B. B. & M.
The Applicant, HOMieR TOBERN4~N, 6763 Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles, California, as Owner,
Voorheis-Trindle & Nelson Inc., 9358 Westminster Avenue, Westminster, California, as
Authorized Agent request that the subject property be reclassified from R-A, R~SIDENTIAL
AGRICULTURAL to R-3, MULTIPLE PAMILYRESIDENTIAL.
WHEREAS, The City Pla~ning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in %he City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F- 58-59-106on the 15th day of June , 19 59, NOTICE of which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studios
made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence
and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts:
1. The subject property adjoins a /Yeller Park on the east, with R-A, Residential
Agricultural on the north and west, with R-l, Single Pamily Residential on the South.
Z. It is proposed to keep the dwellings on Orangewood Avenue and one lot back from
Orangewood as single story.
3. This would appear re be a satisfactory use for this property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED IHAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNIN~ COMMISSION
HEREBY RECOMMENDS TO T~E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATI02~
NO. F- 58-59-106 be approved for reclassification from R-A, RESID~/~TIAL AGRICULTURAL to
R-3, MULTIPLE PAMILY RESIDENTIAL, subject to:

1. The filing of standard R-3 Deed Restrictions approved by the City Attorney, one condition of
which s~lall be that the first two dwellings north of Orange Ave. be restricted to only one story.
2. File a Tentative subdivision map.
3. Dedicate 45 feet from the center line of Orangewood Ave. to the City of Ansi]elm.
4. Prepare street improvement plans & install all improvements in accordance with approved
standard plans in the office of the City ~ngineer.
Provide drainage wes'terly on Orangewood Ave.
6. Payment of $2.00 per front foot for street lighting purposes.
7. That a 90 day time ~mit be set for the accomplishment of above conditions.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this 15th day of June, 1959.
