WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the Owner(s) cfa certain parcel of real property situated
in the Ci~y of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described.as follows:
That portion of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company right
of way through the northwest quarter of Section 1, Township 4
South, Range .11 West, in the' Rancho Los Coyotes, City of
Anaheim, CountyT of Orange, State of California, described

3eginning at the.intersection of a. line parallel with and
20;00 feet southerly of the-center line of said Southern
PacifiC Railroad Company right of way with the East line
of said northwest quarter, said intersection'being South
0°'36' 50" East 122;79 feet, more or leSs~ from the
northeast corner o~ said northwest quarter; thence South
0036' 50" East 35.95 fee~ along said East line to the
Southwesterly line of said right of way; thence North
57~ 10' 35" wes~ 60.00 feet along said southwesterly line;
thence North 0~ 36'.50" West. 35.95 feet to said parallel

of beginning.
PARK VILLAGE ESTATES, a Corporation, Box 602, Anaheim, California,
as Applicant.
WHEREAS, The City Pl-n~ing Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall,in the Oity of Anaheim, on June 29, 1959 NOTICES.of which said
Public Hearing were duly given as required by law ann the provisions of the ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAB CODE, Section 9200; and
..... WHEREAS Said Commi~on, after due inspection, inve~gation and studies
reports offered at said Hearing, docs find and determine tho following facts:
1. The applicant has had a sign in 'an M-1 Zone for two years, but Foster and Klteser
blanked out their sign with other advertising structures.
2. This sign will be the original sign repainted and will be westerly of its present
location, hut still in an M-1 Zone.
3. It was believed that as this company had a prior committment for a sign that this
Sigh'could be permitted until the date of October 10, 1959, when all signs must be
removed along'~'e Santa Ann Freeway, where they do not meet the requirements of the
State Highway.
NOW, ,THEREF01~E, BE'IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAREIM CITY I~ANNING COMMISSION
HEREBY ~rant~ Variance No. 1132 for a period of 3 months subject to the 9 conditions
established by the C£t¥ Council for directional signs.
