WHEREAS, The City Plsnning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County' of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Portion of Section Nine, To.us.hip Four South, Range Ten West, S. B. B. & M. described as follows..
Commencing at a point 50 feet South of the North line of said section, therefore 50 feet South of
the center lfue ~f La Palm~, 405°69 feet west of %he center l~e of La Pa3.m~ at the Junction
of West Street as shown on the map of a section of said section made for F. W. Fleischmann, and
filed in Book 1, Page 56, of Record of Surveys in the Office of the County Recorder of Orange
County, California. Proceeding Southward 674.8 feet to the North line of the County Flood
Control Right-of Way, as recorded in the Orange County Flood Control Right-of Way Carbon Creek
Channel - B-I, Map 10; thence 631.4 feet Northeast along the North line of said Flood Control
Right-of-Way, en ~ding at a point 33 ft. from th~. mid line of West St.; then N. 224.2 ft. to the
point 50 ft. So of th.e center ]~ne of La P~lnm .~venue; thence parallel to the center line of
La p~ma Ave. Westward for a distance cf 383.1 ft. to the point of beginning.
Said property is located at the SW. corner of West St. and La Palina Aw.. in Anaheim, Calif., the
corner having the address of 1!00 W. La Palm-.
The applicant, ROBERT P. R~r,~, M. D., as Owner, requests that the subject proper~y be reclassi-
fied from P.-A, RESIDi~TIAL AGRICULTURAL, to C-I, NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL.
This reclassification was originally published with a faulty description and has been re-advertised
WHER~S, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED P~TITION of RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F-58-59-65 on the 29th day of June , 19~9 . NOTICE of which said
Public Hearing ~as duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Sec%ion 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, inves/'-ation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf, and after due considera: of all evidence
and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determlx~e the following fac%s:
1. The subject property was granted a Variance Nc. ~69 on Janua:7 17, 1957 for
pro£ess~ona!,,ofPlces and a service station.
2. The Service Station and a sm~l.Lprofessional offtce have been erected on
the property.
3° The proposed uses should n~t be detrimental to other properties in the area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
