'~qEAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property situated
in %he City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
All that certain land situated in ~he State of California, County of Orange, City of
Anaheim described as follows: Parcel 1: The south 66 feet of the north 132 feet of the
south half of the northwest quarter of the southwest quarter of the northwest quazrer of
Section 9, Township 4 South, Range l0 West, S. B. B. · M.
Parcel 2: The east 360 feet of the north 132 feet of the south half of the northwest
quarter of tl~e southwest quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 9, Township 4 South,
Range l0 West, S. B. B. & M.
The Applicants~, LESLIH E. AND ~[ARIE A. GUTHRLE, 728 North ~uclid Avenue, Anaheim,
California, requests that the sub3ect property be reclassified from R.-A, RP~ID~NTIAL
AGRICULTURAL to C-3, HEAVY CO~RCIAL to permit the =ection of a motel.
W~EAS, The City PT~ing Commission did hold a l~blic Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F- 59-60-4~ on the 16th day of November , ~959 , NOTICE of which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANANEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself ~nd in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence
and reports offered a~ said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts:
1. The subject property is adjacent to andmross the street from commercially zoned
properties.
2. The subject property is centrally located between the Santa Ana and ~iverside
Pree~'a~s.
~. The shape of the subject property makes it hard to develop ~or normal commercial uses.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
HEREBY RECOMMENDS TO THE CITY COUNCIL 0F THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F- 59-60-46 be reclassified from R-A, R~ID]~VTIALAGRICULTURAL to C-3, HEAVY
CO~C~, subject to:

1. That C-3 Deed Restrictions be placed on the property restricting the C-3 use to a
motel only, approved by the City Attorney.
2. Ih. at the build/ng be erected essentially according to the plans presented.
3. ~"?.at there be a dedication of 53 feet from the center line of ~uclid Ave. To the City of
Anaheim.
4. Prepare street improvement plans and install ali iz~provements in accordance with approved
standard plans on file in the office of the City Mngineer.
5. The payment of $2.00 per front foot for street lighting purposes.
6. That a 90 day time limit be set for the accomplishment of conditions nos. 1, 3, 4, and 5.
