RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION 0F THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
RECOMMENDING T0 THE CITY COUNCIL 0F THE CITY 0F ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION
N0. F-59-60-1 BM APPROVED.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of ~_uaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
PARCBL 1. ~at portion of the west half of the west half o£ the southwest quarter of the
southwest quarter of SectiOn 12, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyote~
County of Orange, State of California, as said Section is shown on a map recorded in Book
$1, Page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the county recorder of said county,
lying southerly of a line which bears south 89o $1· 45" east from a point on ~he west line
of said section which north 0o 12~ 15" west 765.00 feet from the southwest corner of said
Section; ~XC~PT the southerly 809.$2 feet thereof; ALSO~XC~PT that portion thereof
described in Deed to State o~ California recorded May 28, 1941, in Book 109~, Page $~4 of
Official Records.
The applicant, LYDIA DAVIS, 85S2 South Stanton, Anaheim, California, requests a change of
zone from R-A, R~SID]~NTIAL AGRICULTURAL to C-~, HHAVY COMM6ERCIAL.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F- $9-60-1 on the 20th day of July , 19 $9 , NOTICE of which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in :~ts behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence
and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts:
1. The proper~y is presently classified R-A, Residential Agricultural.
2. The property adjoining to the south is zoned C-S, Heavy Commercial and is to be
developed in conjuction with subject property.
3. The applicant presented tentative plans for a shopping cen~er development.
4. Applicant requires use of subject property to'provide necessary circulation on north
and access to S~anton.
5. The state will not allow additional access to highway along $tan~on.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
HEREBY RECOMMENDS TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION
NO, F- 59-60-1 BH;J.~OV]~D, subjec'~ to:
1. Preparation of street improvement plans ~nd installation of all improvements in
accordance with approved standard plans on file in the office of the City Engineer.
2. Dedication to conform to State highway requirements.
~ 3. The payment of $2,00 per front foot for street lighting purposes.
4. That a 90 day time limit be set for the accomplishment of the above conditions.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is sisnod and approved by mo this 20th day of July, 1959.
