A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI~Y OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFIDATION
NO. F-59-60-l. 8 be Aporov~l.'
WHEREAS, Tho' City Planning Commission of the'City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Lot 5 of the "Replat of Ormhard Park Tract" as shown on a map recorded in Book 7,
Page 6, Miscellaneous Maps records of Orange County, Califcrnia. Excepting
therefrom the Westerly 769.75 ft thereof; said distance being computed to the
centerline of Citron St.
The applicant YJ~YSTONE SAVINGS and LOAN ASSOCIATION, 312 W. Center bt., Anaheim,
California, ArthurJ-I. Shipkey St, as Authorized Agent request that the subject
property be reclassified from R--A, I~TSIDHNTIAI~-AGRICULTU~AL, to C-l, NEIGHBORHOOD
CO~RCIAL.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F-59-60-18 on the 8th day of September , 1959 , NOTICE of which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence
and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts:
1, The property directly to the South is zoned C-t.
2. The property directly to the Nor£h is developed with an office for the Southern
California Auto Club.
3. It is proposed to erect on the property a Masonic Temple together with business
and professional offices.
4. This woUld appear,to be a good use of the subject property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
HEREBY RECOMMENDS TO THE CITY COUNCIL DF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION
NO, F-59-60-18 be approved for C-I, N£IGHBORHOOD CO~RCIAL, subject to:

1. That standard C-]. De ,,strictions of the City of An, m approved by the City
Attorney, .limiting the usus to.a Masonic Temple and Business and Professional Offices,
2. That plans for developmenz, more complete, be subm~.tted to the City Council for review.
3. Install sidewalks on Palm Street.
4. That there be a payment of $2.00 per front ft. for street lighting.
5. That a 90 day time limit be set for accomplishment of the above conditions.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this 8th day of September, 1959.
