A RESOLUTION 0F THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION 0F THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL 0F THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSI~ICATION
NO. ~-58-59'119 be Approved.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the property owner[s) of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION is attached.
The applicant, S. Q. R. LAND CO., 202 W. Center Street, Anaheim, California, as
Owner, Wm. P. Wehh, 407 California Bank Building, Anaheim, California, as
Authorized Agent request that the subject property he reclassified from
R-A, RESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL, to C-2, GENERAL COMMERCIAL.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F-58-59-119 on the 13th day of July , 1959 , NOTICE of which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investiga{ion and studies
made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence
and reports offered ag said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts:
1. The property is at present a marginal orange grove.
2. A Study plan of a very tentative nature was presented showing commercial
and high density housing.
3. The property does have a frontage of 700 ft. on Ball Road and contains
apploximately 9 acres which makes it suitable for a commercial, well-planned,
Center.
4. The applicant was willin9 to have C-l, NBIGHBORH00D COMM~RCIALf~fher
than C-2, GENERAL COMM~RCT~T.,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
HEREBY RECOMMENDS TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F-58-59_119 be approved %or reclassification from R-A, RESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL,
to C-l, NEIGHBORHOOD CON~ERCIAL, subject to:

1. That the applicant fii~ Standard C-1 Deed Restrictions of the City of Anaheim
as approved by the City Attorney.
2. That a 50 ft. (minimum) buffer be placed next to any R-1 development.
3. That there be a dedication of 53 ft. from the centerline of Ball Road
to the City of Anaheim.
4. That %here be an additional 2 ft. of dedication to the City of Anaheim on Palm Street.
5. Prepare street improvement plans and install all improvements in accordance with
approved standard plans on file in the office of the City Engineer on both streets.
6. Payment of $2.00 per front foot for street lighting purposes.
7. The future of Clifton Street,to be determined when plans for development are considered.
8. That 90 days or usch other time as the City Council may grant, be set for the
accomplishment of Conditions 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this 13th day of July, 1959.
