A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING C0M~ISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
REC0N~V~NDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAREIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION
NO. ~-59-60-45 B~APPROV~D.
WHEREAS, The City Pl~n~ing Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property situated
in %he City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
That portion of Lot 25 of ;maheim Extension, as shown on a map of survey made by William
Hames and filed in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California, a
copy of which is recorded in Book 3, au Pages 16~, ~scellaneous Maps, records of said
Orange County, entitled Los Angeles County Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of
Orange County described ~s follows:
Beginning au the southwest corner of said Lot 25, said corner for the purposes of this
description being considered to be the intersections of the center lines of Los Angeles
Street and Ball Road, and running thence north 15o 32~ 15" West, along the center line
of said Los Angeles Street, 160.35 feet; thence north 74® 27' 45" east 278.86 feet; thence
south 15o 32· 15" east, parallel with said center line of Los A~ugeles Street, 237.40· to
said center line of Ball Road; thence south 890 54' 30" west, 289.31· to the point of '
beginning.
The Applicants, PAUL & N~ulIAN TEDRICK, Box 1052,Ventura, California, as Owners,
Continental Service Company, lll West ?th St. Los Angeles 14, California, as Authorized
requesting that the sub3ect property be reclassified from ~-L, PARRING LANDSCAPING and
C-2, GBNERAL CO~NP-/{CIAL to C-l, NBIGHBORHOOD OOM~9~RCL~L.
WHEREAS, The City Pl-nnlng Commission did hold a Public Hearing a% the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION
NO. P- 59-60-43 on the 26th day of October , 1959 , NOTICE of which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANANEIN MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9~00; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence
and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts:
1. Applicant proposes to build a Bank on subject property.
2. Present C-2 zoning will permit bank, however, ~-L, zone along Los Angeles St. will not
permit building to be placed closer than 60 feet from property line.
3. Planning Commission has recommended C-6, Highway Commercial on property which will permit
building within 10· of proper~y line.
NOW, TN~.REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT TME ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
MEREBY RECOMMENDS TO THE CITY COUNCIL 0P THE CITY OF ANAREIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F- 59-60-43, BE APPROVP~D, sub3ect to:

1. A 10 foot building la~ocaping setback, :
2. Dedication of $3' on Ball Road ~d Los Angeles Street.
3. Prepare street improvement plans and install all improvements in accordance with
approved standard plans on file in the office of the City ~gineer, on both street.
~:isting improvements to be removed and relocated including signals on both streets.
4. Pays-eh/ of $2.00 per front foot for street lighting purposes.
