California, as descr:.bed in Bxhibit "A" or as follows;

the City of Anaheim on April 17, 1961 at 2:00 o'cloct P.id.~ aolice of 88id
public hearing haviag been duly giyen as required by hw and ia accordance trith th[~ pxeei-
sions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, C~apter 18.64, ta heas and aeasider evidence for and
against said proposed conditional use and to investiga.te and make findingB and reco~en-
dations in conaection therewith; and
WHSRHAS, said Comm.ission, after due iaspection,investigation~ and atudy made bq it-
self and ?n its behalf, and after due consideration of ull evidence and reports offered
at said heasing, does find and determine the following facte:
1. That the proposed use xs prooerly one Eo= which a Coaditional Use Permit
is authorized by this Code, to wit: a Jewish Temple and school.
2, That the proposed use will adversely affect the ad3oiniug land u$es •and
the growth and developmeat of the area in which it is propoaed to be locatQd.
3, That the size and shape of the site proposed for the use ~'.$ no~ adequate to
allow the full development of the propose3 use in a manner aot detriments,l to the parti-
cular area nor to the peace, health, safety, and geaeral ~relfase ~f tl.e citizens of th~
City of Anaheim.
4. That the traffic gene•rated by the proposed u~e wi;i 3.mpoae ssn undue bur-
den upon the streets and highways desigaed and improved to esrry the tsaffic in #he area.
5. That the granting of the Conditiona]. U~e Permit under the canditions imposed,
if any, wiil be detrimental to the peace, ~iealth, safety~ and, gene~al xelfare of the
citizens of the City of Anaheim.
6. That the hours of operation of the pr.oposed school and the establishemnt of a
social hall in close proximity to a residential area would not be compatible with the ex-
isting residential development.
7. That the highest and best use of the land would be for residential development
and the extension of Harle Avenue and Baxnardy Place.
8. That verbal opposi~ion to the subject petition was recorded at fhe meetings
of March 20, 1961 and Ag*i.t 17, 1961, and two petitions of opposition, containing a•total
of 53 signatures, were filed with the Commis3ion. ... ,

denies CONDTT'IONAL USH PERMIT N0. 106 for the CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATIGN OP A JSiNISH TEMFLE
AND SCHOOL, on the basis of the aforementioned findings.
