of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, Couaty af Orange, State of
California, as described in FsxhibSt "A" or as follows: Lot 5S Tract 1940

WI~RBAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a gublic hea=ing at the City Hall in
the Ci4y of Anaheim on August 21, 1961 at 2:00 o'clact P.M., notice of said
public hearing haviag been duly given as required bylaw and in accordance wiih the psovi-
aions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18.6~~ to hear and consider evidence for and
against said proposed variaace and to investigate and mate findings~ and recommendations
in comnection therewifih; aad
WHHRBAS, seid Commission, after due inspectiou, investigation,aad studq made by it-
self and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered
as said hearing, does find and determine the following facts:
1, Thut the petitioner requests a variance from the anaheim Municipal Code:
Section 18.24.030 (3), which requires for subject property a minimum rear yard of 25 feet,
to permit the encroachment of 17.3 feet into the required rear yard in order to construct
an addition to an existing res~.:i~nce,
2. That 4here are exceptional or extraordina:;~ cireumstancea or conditiona
appiicable to the~property involved or to the ia.:;aded uae c~ the property that do not
apply generally to trie property or class of use in 4he same viciR~.ty a~si zoae.
