the City of Anaheim on September 6, 1961, at 2:00 o'clock P.M., uo+ice of said
public hearing haviAg been duly given.as required by]aw and ia accordanc~e with the provi-
sions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18.68, to hear and consider eyidence for aad
agaiast said proposed variance aad to investigate and mate findiaga and reeommen~:ions
in connection therewith; and
Vff~RBAS, said Commissioa, after due inspection, investigation~and studq made by it-
self and in ite behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reporta offezed
as said hearing, does find and determine the following facte:
•1. That the petitioner requests a vaxiance from the Anaheim Hunicipal Code:
$ection 18. 24.030 (3) to permit an encroachment of 10 feet into the required rear yard
of Lot No. 18 and an e..~roachment of 9 feer into the required rear yard of Lot No. 19 of
Tentative Map of Tract No. 3822.
2, That there are exceptionol or extraordinary circumatances or conditions
applicable to the property involved or to the intended use of the property that do no±
apply generaily to the property ur class of uae in the same vicinity aad zone.
3, That the requested variance is necessary for the preaervation and ea,~oymen4
of a subatantial property right possesaed by other prop~rtq ia the same ~riciaity and
zone, and denied to the propertq ia question. •
4. That the requeated variance wili not be materially detrimeatai to the pubiic
welfare or ia,jurious to the property or improvementa in such vicinitq aad zone 3n which
the property is located.
5. That the requeatad variance will not edversel~ affect the Comprehenaive
General Plaa.
6. That the rear iot line of Lot Nos. 18 a~d 19 is ~that iot ],ine which is opposite
and most distaut from the front lot line.
7. That no one appeared in ~pposition to sub3ect pei:ition.
