~ the City of Anaheim on September 6, 1961, at 2:00 o'clock P.M., aotice of said
public heariag having been duly given as required byla~o and in accordassce mith the provi-
sions of ~he Anaheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18.64, to hear aad coasider evideace for a~C
~ against said proposed conditional use and to investigate and make findinga and reco~en-
~ dations in connection therewith; and
WC~3RBAS, said Cor~nmission, after 4ae inspectioa,investigetion~ and atudy made bq it-
seif and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports o;fered
at >:aid hearing, does find and determine the following facte: ~
1.. That the proposed use 3.s proper3q ane for which a Conditional Use Permit
is authorized by this Code~ to wit:A high-rise hotel building with a cocktail lounge therein.
2. That the proposed use ~viil not adverseiy a£fect the ad,~oining land useo and
the gxoxrth and development of the area in uhich it is proposed to be located.
3. That the size aad shape of the site proposed for the use 3,~ adequnte to
allow the full deveicpment of the proposed uae in a maaner not detrimental to the pax4i-
cular area nor to the peace, health,~safety~ and general welfare of the citizeas af the
City of Anaheim.
4. That the traffic generated by 4he pr!:pr,se3 uae wiii not impose sa uadtte bur-
den upon the streets and highways designed and proposed to earry the t~sEfic in the area.
S, 'Fhat the granting of the Conditidnal Use Yermit under the conditions 3nposed,
if any, will not be detrimentai to the peace, health, ~afety~ and general xelfare of the
citizens of the City of Anaheim.
5. That the maximum height of the proposed buiiding on subJect property shall be
125 feet. The ground level of subject property is 10 feet below the grade of certain pro-
perties situated southeasterly of Harbor Boulevard and Midway Drive, therefore the maxdmum
elevation of subject hotel will be identical to the maximum elevation of a hotel-motel
recently approved southeasterly of the intersect~on of Harbor Boulevard and Midway Drive.
7. That the required 48 parking.spaces are presently located on the miniature golf
course property approved under Conditional Use Permit Ne. 96.
8. That no one appeared in opposition ta subject petition.
