A REV~LUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
THAT PETITION FOR VARIANCE N0. 1438 BE GRANTED
WHEREAS, the City P1enning Commission of the City of Aneheim did ceceive a verified Petition for Vadance
f:om C. G. VAUGHAN, 4521 Orrington Road, Corona ,Del Mar, California, Owner; Sherwin Kellcan,
1145 Pacific Avenue, Long Be~ch, California, Agent of certain real property situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as described in Bxhibit "A" or as
follows: All that certain land situated in the State of California, County of Orange, City
of Anaheim, describe,d as follows: The west 100.00 feet of Lot 1 of Walnut Colony Tract, as
shown on a Lxcensed Burveyot's Map filed in BooL- 1, page 14 of Record of Surveys in the
office of the County Re~:order of Orange County, California, described as follows: Heginning
at ghd intersection of the west line of said Lot 1 or its northerly extension and the center
line of Ratella Avenue, and running thence South along said west line 280 feet; thence Bast
and parallel with the center line of Katella pvenue, 150 feet; thence north parallel with
the west line of said Lot 1, 280 feet to a point in the center line of Katella Avenue;
thence west along said center line 150 feet to t2ie point of beginning

on January 8, 19(i2 at 2:00 o'clock P.M., noticc of said public headng having been duly given e~a required
by law and in accordan;e with the proviaiona of the Aneheim Municipel Code, Chepter 18.68, to heer en.ti consider

tion therewith; and

1. That the petitioner requests a vrariance f[om the Anaheim Municipel Code:Sectian 18.40.010 to permit
the on-sale of beer and wine an canjunction with a family restaurant on subjec: property.

" NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission does hereby grant subject
PeUkion far Veriance, upon the following conditions which are hereby found to be a necessery prerequisite to the pro-
posed use of 4he subject property in order to preserve the sefety and general welfare of the Citizens ofthe City of
Aneheim.
1. Development substantially in accordance with Hxhibit Nos. 1, 2, and 3.
2. That the on--sale of beer and wine be permitted only in conjunctian with the operation
of a bonafide family restaurant.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and apprr,ved by me this 8th day of January, 1962.
