WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission oE the City of Aneheim did receive a veriffed Petition for Conditionel
Use Pecmitfcom RBAL ESTATB DISPOSAL CQRP~tATION, 935 South La Brea, Inglewood, California,
Owner; Moro G. We1ch,14400 Bast Pirestone Boulevard, La Mirada, California, Ageat of certain
real property situated in the City of Anahei~, County of Orange, State of California, as
described in Exhibit "A" or as follows: Legal description ~arked Exhibit "A", attached hereto,
incorporated in f?le of subject petition and referzed to herein as though set forth in full
; and
WHEREAS, the City Planniag Commission did hold n public heering et the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on
January 8, 1962 et 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public he3dng havIng beep duly given as eequired by
law and in aocordance with the provisions of the Aneheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18:64, to hear and consider evidence
for and against seid propoaed conditionel use and to investigete and mal:e findings and recommendations in connection
therewith; md
WHEREAS, seId Commission, after due inspection, inves4igation, and atudy mede by itself and in its behalf,
and efter due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at seid hearing, does find end detetmine the following fects:
1. Thet the proposed use is properly one for which a Conditlonal Use Permit is authorized by this Code,to wit:
Hstablishme;it of a doublefaced 14 by 28 foot outdoor advertising structure twenty-five (25)
feet above grade.
2, That the proposed use will adversely affect the adjoining land use's and the growth
and development of the area in which it is proposed to be located.
3, That the granting of the Conditional Use Permit, under the conditions imposed, if
any, will be detrimental to the peace, health, safety, and general welfare of the citizens of
the City of Anaheim. •
4. That the proposed use would be in violation of Section 4.08.020 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code, said section prohibiting the ereCtion of an outdoor advertising structure that
is visible from a major roadway or freeway.
