A RESOLUTION OF THE CfTY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
THAT PETITION FQR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT N0.199 BE DENIED
WHEREAS, the Ciry Planning Commissian of the City of Anelteim did receive a verified Petitioa foe Conditional
Use Permit from PAUL PLBTZ, 3302 West Ball Road, Anaheim, California, Owner; Rothman- Steeri,
617 South Harbor Boulevard, Suite C, Anaheim, California,.Agents'of certa3n real property
siutated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as described in
Exhibit "A" or as follows: Legal description marked Exhibit "A", attached t~.reto, incor-
porated in file of sub,ject petition and referzed to herein as though set forth in iull
; and
WHEF.EAS, the Ciry Planning Commission did hold a public heoring at the City Hall in the City of Aneheim on
Pebruary 5, 1962 at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of seid public headng having beep duly given as requicod by
law and i'n accordance with the provisions of the Aneheim Municipel Code, Chapter 18:64, to hear and consi8er evidence
for and against said pmposed condltional use and to investigate and meke findings and recommendatlons in connection
therewith; and
WEiEREAS, said Commission, ciftec due inspectio.n, investIgation, end etudy made by~itself and in its behalf,
end efter due considecation of ell evidence end repods offe:ed at seid headng, does find and deteanine the following fads:
1. Thet the pcoposed use is properly one for which a Conditional Use Permit is euthorized by thIs Code, to Kit:
a planned unit development.
2. That the proposed use will adversely affect the adjoining land uses and the
~rowth and development of the area in which it is proposed to be located.
3• That the granting of the Conditional Use Permit as proposed in subject petition
would not conform to the intent of Precise Plan Study No. 2g-94-2 as recommended by the
Planning Commission to the City Council for the ultimate development of the subject
property and that the Planning Commission does hereby re-affirm said recommendation,
thereby keepiny faith in the ma;.ter of resolving the problems affecting those properties
located on the west side of East Street between Water Street and South Street.
4. That verbal opposition by five owners of property (n subject area was recorded
against sub.ject petition. • '
