A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEAI
THAT PETITION FOR VARIANCE N0. 1449 BE GRANTED '
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a verified Petition for Vadonce
from CHARLES B. SF:INER JR., 705 Dover Street, Anaheim, California, Owner of certain real
property situate.d in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as des-
cribed in Exhib~it "A" or as follows: Lot No. 86 of Tract No. 2205, and further described
as 705 Dover Street

WHEREAS, the Clty Planning Commission did hold o pubiic headng et the City Hall in the City of Aneheim
on February 19, 1962 et 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public heedng having been duly given es required
by law end in accordance with the pcovisions of the Maheim Municipel Code, Cheptee 18.68,to heac and consider
evidence for and egainst said proposed veciance end to investigate and make findings end cecommendetions in connec-
tion thecewith; end
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigation, end study made by itself end in its behelf,
and eftec due consideration of all evidence and reports offeced as said hearing, does find end determine the following
facts:
1. Thet the petitioner cequests a va:iance from the Aneheim Municipal Code: Section 18 0 24 0 030 (3) to
permit an encroachment of 10075 feet into the required rear yard of subject property in
order to construct a family and utility room addition to an existing single family resi-
denceo
2. Thet thece ere exceptiortel or extraocdinery ci:cumstences or conditions applicable to the propecty involved
or to the intended use of the pcoperty that do not apply generelly to the property or cless of use in the seme vicinity
and zone.
3. That the requested variance is necessary for the p:eservetion end enjoyment of e substentiel property right
possessed by other property in the seme vicility and zone, and denied to the property in question.
4. That the requested veriance will not be materielly detrimental to the pubiic welfate or injurious to ffie pmp-
erty or imp:ovements in such vicinity and zone in which the p:operty is located.
5. Thet the requested variance will not edversely affect the Compcehensive Generel Plan.
