RECOMMENDING TO THE CTfY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT

1. That the petitioner proposes e reclessification of the ebove described property ftom the C-2~ GENERAL
COMMERCIAL, ZONE to the M-1, LIGHT MANUFACTURING, ZONE.
2. Thet the pmposed reclassi£icetion of subject property is necessery a~fd/or deaireble [or the oiderly end pro-
per development oE the community.
3. That the proposed mctassificetion of subject property does pcoperly relete to the zones and'theit pexmitted ~
uses locally esteblished in close proximity to subject property end to the zonea aad their permitted usea generally eeteb-
liahed throu out the communiry.
4e ~hat the proposed reclassification of sub~ect property does not require dedication
for and standard improvenent of abutting streets.because said property.does relate to and
abut upon streets and highways which are improved to carry the type and quantity of traffic,
which will be generated by the permitted uses, in accordance with the circulation element
of the General Plano •
~ 5o That due to the proposed industrial use of sub3ect property it is hereby recommended
to the City Council that the installation of sidewalks be waived. •
6. That no one appeared in opposition to subject petition.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission does hereby recommend
to the City Council of the City of Aneheim thet subject Petition for Reclassification be appnved end, by so doing,
thet Title 18-Zoniag of the Anahelm Municipal Code be amended to exclude the ebove described property from the
C-2, GENERAL COMNiERCIAL, ZONE and to incorporate_ said described property in the M-1, LIGHT
MANUFACTURING, ZONE, upon the following conditions which are hereby found to be a necessary
prerequisite to the proposed use of the subject property in order to preserve the safety and
general ~velfare of the Citizens of Anaheim: •
1. Development substantially in accordance with Exhibit No. lo
2< Provision of a ten (10) foot decorative block wall on the northerly property line as
indicated on Exhibit Noo 1 with the installation of landscaping in accordance with
said Exhibito
3~a Installation of adequate landscaping along the easterly boundary of subject property
to screen subject property from the freeway right-of-way, plans for said landscaping
to be submitted to and subject to the approval of the Superintendent of Parkway
Maintenanceo '
