A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
THAT PETITTON FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 228 BE GRANTED
WHERL•, ~he City Plenning Commission of the City of Maheim did receive a verified Petition for Conditionel
Use Permit from •.-~ a~~d MRSo Re L~ LUECKE, 414 Plum Lane, Orange, California, Ovuner of certain
real property situated in the Gfty of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as
described in Exhibi~ "A" attached hereto and referred to herein as though set forth in full;
L'ut Noso 6 and 7 of South Street Tract and further described as 820 South Los Angeles St~eet

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing et the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on
April 309 19629 at 2:00 o'clock P.111., aotice of said public hearing having been duly given as required by
lew and in accordance with the provisions of the Maheim Municipal code, Chepter 18.64, to hear end consider evidence
for and ageinst said proposed conditionel use and to investigate and make findings and cecommendations in connection
therewiih; end •
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigation, end study made by itself and in its behatf, and
after due consideretion of ell evidence and reports offe:ed at said heering, does find end determine the following facts:
1. That the proposed use is properly one for which a Conditional,Uce Permit is authorized by this Code,to
wit: to permit the establishment of a motelo
2. That the proposed use will not advecsely affect the edjoining land uses and the growth end development of
the atea in which it is proposed to be loceted.
3. That the size end shape of the site proposed for the use is adequete to allow the full development of the
proposed use in e menner not detdmental to the particuler area nor to the peace, health, safety, and general welfere
of the Citixens of the City of Anaheim.
4. Thet the gcanting of the Conditional Use Permit under the conditions imposed, if any, will not be detrimental
to the peace, health, sefety, end general welfare of the Citizens of the City of Aneheim.
5o That the traffic.generated by the propased use will not impose an undue burden
upon the streets and highWays designed and improved to carry the traffic in the aeae
6e That one person appeared in opposition to sub~ect petition.

Petifion for Conditionel Use Permit, upon the following conditions which a~e heceby found to be a necessary prerequisite
to the proposed use of the subject property in order to pteserve the safety and generel welfere of the Citizens of the
City of Aneheim: ~
1a .Ded~ca~ion of 45 feet from"the mon~ented centerline of Los Angeles Street (34.75
feet extsting).
2. Repair of sidewalks on Los Angeles Street in accordance with the adopted standard
plans on f ile in the Off ice of tYie City Ehqineer.
3• Provision of trash storage areas as determined by the Department of Public Work9,
Sanitation Division, which are adeq~atQ in size, accessible to trash-truck pickup, and .
adequately enclosed by a solid f enae, or wall, prior td Final Building Inspection.
4o Time li~itation o£ one hundred and eighty (180) days f or the accomplishemnt of Item
Nos. 1 and 2.
5o Development substantially in accordance with Exhibit Nos. 1(revised) through 4
as presente~ to the Cotmnfssione
6o That the area marked Unit Noa 7 on Revised Exhibit No. 1 shall be used for linen
and storage only and shall not be used as a motel un3t. .
