A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMIIfISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
THAT PETITION FOR VARUINCE N0. 1502 BE GRANTED
PIHEREA5, the City plenning Commission of the City of Maheim did receive a veri~ed Petition for Variance
from wILLIAM J. GIIIiL, 405 Syracuse Street, Anaheim, California, Owner of certain real prop-
erty situated in the City of A;iaheim, County of Orange, State of California as followss
Lot 45 in Tract 2775 and further described as 405 Syracuse Street, Attaheim, California

WHEREAS, tfie City Plenning Commission dId hold a public hearing at the Cify Hall in the City of Anaheim
on July 9~ 1962~ at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of seid public heariag having 6een duly given as required
by law and in accordance with !he provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chepter 18.b8,to hear and. coneider
evidence for and against said proposed variance and to invesugate and make findinga end cecommendations in connec-
tion therewitth; and
WHEREAS, said Commiesion, eftet due inapention; investigatiqn, and study made by itself and in its behalf,
and ctfter due consideratian of all evidence and cegods offeced es said hearing, does find and determine the fallowing
facta:
1. Thet the:petitioner eequests a verience from the Anaheim Manicipal Code: Section 18.24.030 (3) to
construct an ad'dition to an existing si.ngle fam~ly residence.
2. Thet the:e aee exceptional or extreordinery circumstc~ces or conditions applicebi~ to the property involved
or to the intended use of the propecty thet do not epply generally to the property or class of use in the same :icinity
end zone.
3. That the reqcested varience is necessary for the preservation end enjoymeni of a substantiel property right
possessed by other pcoperty in the seme vicinity and zone, and denied to the pmperty in question.
4. That the requested variance v~ill not be meterially deteimental to the public welfare or injurious to the prop-
erty or improvements in such vicinity and zone in which the property is located.
' 5. That the cequested varienc~ will no~ adversely affect the Comprehensive General Plaa.
6. That one person appeared in opposition to subject petition; and two letters were
received, one in opposition and one in support of subject petition.
