WHEREAS, the City Planniag Commiasion did hold a pyblic hearing et the City Hall •in the City o£ Aueheim on
July 23~ 1962, at 2:00 o'clock P.M., noUce of said public hearing heving been duly given as required
by law and ia aaco:dance with the provisions of the Meheim Municipal Code, Chepter 18.72,to hear end consider evi-
deace for and egeinst said proposed ceclassification end to inveatigate end meke findings and recommendations in
connection the~ewith: end
WHEREAS, said Commission, eftet due inspection, investigation, a~fd study made by itself end in its behelf,
xnd after due consideratton of all evidence and reports offeted et said hearIng, does find end determine the following
facts:
1. That the petitioner proposes a reclessification ol• the ebove described property from tUa R-A~ Residential
Agricultural Zone to the R-3, Multiple Family Residential Zone, to construct a single story
planned unit multiple family i~esidential development.
2. That the pxoposed reclassification of subject property is not necessary and/or
desirable for the orderly and proper development of the community~
3. That the proposed reclassification of subject property does not properly relate to
the zones and their permitted uses locally established in close proximity to subject property
and to the zones and their permitted uses generally established throughout the community.
4. That the proposed development of sub~ect property was incompatible with the present
zoning of R-1, One Family Aesidential Zone.
5. That the Commiss•'son in a previous resolution proposed the southerly boundary o£
multiple family development to be the.north side of Orangewood Avenue.
6. That the subject property could be developed for single family development with a
street being pr~,jected down the center of subject property and thus leaving a lot depth or
122 feet for said single family residentiai develapment.
