A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLAIdNING COMiVIISSIOIV OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
THAT PETITION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT292 BE GRANTED
WHEREAS, the City Plen~ing Commission of the City of Aneheim did receive a vedfied Petition for Cnnditionel
Use Permitfrom FIRST PRESBYTFRIAN CHURCH OF ANAHEIM~ 310 West Broadway, Anaheim, California,
Owners; JOHN M. KENT~ 56Q Cali£ornia Federal Building, Euclid at Crescent, Anaheim, Cal-
ifornia,, Agent o£.certain real prapertx situated.in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, described as follows: Lot Nos. 1, 2, and 3 of Tract No. 38, and Lot
Nos. 11~ 12, 13, 14 and 15 of Gade Subdivision

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commisaion did hoia a public hearing at the City Hell in the City of Aaeheim on
August 20~ 1962~ et 2:00 dclock P.M., notice of said public hearing having been duly given as required by
law end in eccordence with the provisions of the Aneheim Municipal code, Chepter 18.64, to hear and consider evidence
for end ageinst seid pzoposed conditional use and to investigate and meke £indings and recommendetions in connection
therewith; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inapection, investigation, and study' made by itself and in its behalf, and
after due considecation of ell evidence ertd reports offered et said hearing, does find and determine the following facts:
I. That the pmposed usc is properly one for which a Conditionel .Use Permit is authorized by this Code, to
wit:establish a Church education building and waive parking requirements.
2. That the proposed use will not adve:sely effecC the adjoining land uses end the gtowth end development of
the azea in which it is proposed to be loceted.
3. That the size and shepe of the s.'~te propoaed for the use is adequate to allow the full development of the
pcoposed use in a menner not detrimentel to the perticulac erea noe to the peace, health, esafety, end general welfere
of the Citizens of the City of Meheim.
4. That the gFenting of tho CondiUonel Use Permit uadet the coaditions imposed, if eny, will not be detrimental
to the peace, health, sefety, end general welfare of the Citizens of the City oE Anaheim.
5. That the traff ic generated by the proposed use will not impose an undue burden
upon the streets and highways designed and improved to carry the traffic in ~he ~rea.
6. That parking requirements be waived, since the petitioner stated that the
proposed new structure wa's not proposed for additionalmembership but for the accommo-
dation of the present membership onlya
7. That two persons appeared in opposition to subject petition, one of whom
presented a petition signed by 28 nearby property owners opposing the waiving of parking~
requirement request.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Plenning"Commission does hereby grant subject {
Petition for Conditional Use Permit, upon the following conditions which are heeeby found to he a necessery prerequisite
to the pmposed use of the subject pcoperty in ozder to preserve the sefety and generel welfere of the Citizens of the
~::I City of Aneheim: '
1. Provision of standard trash storage areas as determined by the Dep'artment of Public
Works, Sanitation Division, prior to Final Building Inspection,.
2. Development substantially in accordance with Exhibit Nose 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.
