WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Aneheim on
AuguSt 20~ 1962, at 2:00 o'clock P.M., r.otice of seid pablic hearing having been duly given as required by
law end in eccordence with the provisions of the Meheim Municipal code, Chepter 18.64, to hear aad consider evidence
for and ageinst said proposed conditional use and to investigete and meke fiadings and recommendations ia connection
therewlth; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, efter due inspection, investlgatioa, end study mede by itself and in its behelE, end
efter due consideration of all evidence end reports offered at saId hearing, does find and detamine the following Eects:
1. That the proposed :~se is properly one for which g Conditional.Use Peimit is euthorized by this Code, to
wit: establish a cocktail lounge.
2. Thet the proposed use will not adversely affect the adjoining land uses and the growth and development oE
the erea in which it is oroposed to be located.
3. Thet the size end shepe of the site proposed for the use is adequate to allow the fvll developmrnt of the
proposed use in a manner not detrImental to the particuler area nor to the peace, health, sefety, and geaerel welfare
of the Citizens of the City of Meheim.
4. That the granting of thr Conditionel Uae PetmIt un~3er the condiUons imposed, if any, wAl not be detrimentel
to the peace, health, safery, end genersl welfere of the Citizens oE the City of Aneheim.
5. That the traffic generated by the proposed use will not fmpose an undue burden
upon the streets and highways designed and improved to carry i~he traffic in the area.
6. That a stipulation by the petitioner, a3r coaditioning units whir,h are located
on the roof of the structure will be screened from view of the street by the installation
of fascia or louvre screening around the entire outside of the roof of the structure.
7. That no one appeared in opposition tio subject petition.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT'KESOLVED that the Anaheim City Pienning'Commission does hereby g:ant subject
Petition for Conditional Use Permit, upon the following conditions which ace he:eby found to be a necessary p:erequisite
to the proposed use of t;ie subject property in order to presecve the sefety end general welface of the Citizens of the
City of Anaheim: '
1. Paymeni: of $2.OO~per front foot for street lighting purposes an Katella Avenue.
2.. Time limitation of one hundred eighty (180) days for the accomplishment of Item
No. 1.
3„ Development substantially in accordance with Exhibit Nos. 2, 3, 4, and 5.
4. Installation of. louvre or•fascia scxeening subject to the Chief Building Inspector
to shield.all air-conditioning.equipment located.on the roof of all motel units on sub3ect
property as stipulated by the petitioner, prior to issuance of the business license of the
the cocktaiZ operation.
