A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT
' PETITION FOR RECLASSIFICATION NO. 62-63-71 EE DENIED
WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission of the City of Anaheim did reccive a verifted Petition for Reclassifice-
tion from IDWARD and IDII'H M. MILLS, 1007 North State College Boulevard, Anaheim, California,
Owners; N~RMAN LOMBARD, 918 South Euclid Street, Fullerton, California, Agent of certain
real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described
as that portion of the southeast quarter of Section 2, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in
the Rancho San .Tuan Cajon de Santa Ana, as per map recorded in Book 51, page 10 of N~iscellaneous
Maps, in the office of the county recorder of said county, described as; Beginning at the
southeast corner of said section; thence North 0~ 53' 45" West 203.00 feet along the East
line of said section; thence wester7.y 326.67 feet parallel with the southerly line of said
sectionq thence South 0° 53' 45" East 203.00 feet to said southerly line; thence easterly
326a67 feet along said southerly line to the point of beginning

WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission did hold a public hearing et the City Hell in the ~City of Anaheim on
February 18~ 1963, at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of seid public hearing heving been duly given as required
by lew and in accordence with the provisions of the Meheim Municipel Code, Chepter 18.72,to hear and consider evi-
dence for and egainst seid proposed reclassificetion and to investigate end meke findings end recommendntions in
connection thetewith: and
WHEREAS, seid Commission, after due inspection, investigation, and study mede by itself end in its behelf,
end after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at seid heering, does find end determine the following
facts:
1. Thet the petitioner proposes e reclassiEicetion of the above described property from the R-A, Residential
Agricultural, Zone to the C-1, Neighborhood Commercial, Zone to permit the establishment of
a servics station and family-type restaurant.
2. That the proposed reclassification of subject property is not necessary and/or
desirable for the orderly and proper development of the community.
3. That subject petition for reclassification, ac:compained by Conditional Use Permit
No. 369 for the establishment of a service station, proposes the reclassification of the
proposed service station site, and ad3acent 108.66 foot wide portion of the property for
which no plans have been submitted, and that the reclassification of subject property, as
proposed, is not necessary to establish the service station as requested under said conditional
use permit. Consequently, the petitioner is ~nc~uraged to submit a petition for reclassifica-
tion of subject property when definite plans of development for the westerly 108.66 feet have
bAen resolved, so that said plans might be carefully reviewed in relationship to the high
school site abutting to the west and north of subject property.
4. That no one appeared in opposition to subject petition.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission does hereby tecommend
to the City •~ouncil of the City of Anaheim that subject Petition for Reclassification be denied on the basis of the
afotementioned findings.
