WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of tfie City of Anaheim did receive a verified Petition for Reclassifica-
tionfrom FRHS MBTHODIST CHURCH pp ANAI~IM~ 1171 North Viest Street, Anaheim, California,
Qwner of certain re~l property situated in the City of Anaheim, Countq of Orange, State of
Califorr.ia, described as: The Basterly 39~ feet of Lot 56 in Vinepard Lot "BS", of the
Langenberger Tract as sho~i,m ott a Map recorded in Book 1, pages 550 and 551 of Miscellaneous
Re~ords of Los Angeles County, California.
BXCHPTING THERBFROM the Northerly 50 feat of the Easterly 39~ feet of said Lot 56

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commsssion did hold a pnblic fieariag at the City Hall ia the City of Maheim on
Apri1 1, .1963 at 2:00 o'clock P.M. nefice of said public heariag haviag been duly given es required by
law and in accordance with the provisioas of the Anaheim Municipal Code, C6apter 18.72, to hear and coasides evidence
Eor and against said pioposed reclassificati~Q and to investigate and make findings and recommeadatio4s in connection
thecewith; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, iavesiigation, aad shtdy made by itself aad ia its behalf, and
efter due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said fiearing, does find aad determine the following facts:
1. That the petitioner proposes a reclassificatioa of the above described prope~p fmm the P-1, Automobile
Parking9 Zone to the C-2! General Commercial, 2one to permit the establishment of a real
estate office~ The requested C-2, General Commercial, Zone ~ras denied, but C-1, Neighbor-
hood Commercial, Zone was approved~
2. That the proposed reclassificatioa of subject property is necessary sad/or desitable for the orderly and pro-
per development of the community.
3. That the proposed reciassificatioa of subject propeKy does properly relate to the zones and their permitted
uses locelly established in close proumity to subject pmperty aad to tfie zones aad tfie'u pe~itted uses generally esteb.

4~ That the proposed reclassification of suhjeci propertv does not require dedication
for and standard improvement of abutting streets because said property does relate to and
abut upon streets and hiahways which are improyE~ to carry the type and quantity of traffic,
which will be generated by the permitted uses, in accordance with the circulation element
of the General Plan~

to the City Council of the City of Anaheim thet aubject Petition for Reclassi$cetion be approved end, by s~ doing,
that Title 1&Zoning of Che Anaheim Municipal Code be emended to exclude the ebove described property from the
1~ Limitation of all signs to one sign with a maximum area of eight (8) square feet, ~
and the prohibition of all other signs, banners, flags, and lightso
