RECOMMENDING TO THE CI'TY COUIQCII. OF THE CITY OF ANAHEAi TFiAT
PETITION FOR RECLASSIFICATION NO. 62-63-99 BE DENTED
1YHEREAS, the City Planning Commissios of the City of Anaheim did meive a verified Petitian fo~ Reclassifice-
tion fcom RAY W. GRIMM~ 1951 Ravista I.ane, La Canada, California, Owner; M. L. McGAUGHY,
2966 Lincoln, Anaheim, California, Ac~ent of certain real property situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Oranqe, State of L'alifornia, described as the northeast quarter of the
northeast quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 13, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ma, as said section is shovm on a map recorded in
book 51, page 7 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the off ice of the county recorder of szid county.
EXCEPT the West 196.00 feet thereof

WHEREAS, the City Planaing Commissioa did hold e public fiearing at the Gity Hell in the City of Aneheim on
ApTil 15~ I963~ et 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public heaciag ha•ring beea duly given as requiced
by law end ia accordence with the provisioas r~f tthe Anaheim Muaicipal Code, Chepter 18.72,to hear aad coasider evi-
dence for end egainst said proposed recless3flc~tion and to iavestigete aad malce findings aad cecommendetions in
connection therewith: and
WHEREAS, seid Commission, efter due inspection, investigatioa, aad stady made by itself and in its behalf,
and after due consideretion of ell evidence ead zepocts offered at seid heacing, does fiad aad determiae the followiag
fects:
1. That the petitioner proposes a reclessificatioa of the above describad pmpe~ty 8om the R-A~ Residential
Agricultural, Zone to the R-3, h7ultiple Family ResidentiaZ, Zone to establish a two story
mult£ple family subdivision.
2o That the proposed reclassif ication of subject property is not necessary and/or de-
sirable for the orderly and proper development of the cormmmity.
3o That ti~e proposed reclassification of subject property does not properly relate to
the zones and their permitted uses locally established in close proximity to subject property
and to the zones and their permitted uses generally established throughout the community.
4o That the subject property, by location and size, is suitable for subdivision
into a low density residential development as indicated on Planning Stvdg No. 45-114-4,
Exhibit No. 2, approved by motion of the City Planning Commission on P~ay 14, 1962, for single
family residential subdivision.
5. That two (2) person's appeared, one of whom represented twenty-eight (28) persons
present in the Council Chamber, in opposition to subject petition.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission does heieby recommend
to the City Council of the City of Anaheim thet subject Petition for Reclessification be denied on the basis of the
aforementioned findings.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this 15th day of April~ 1963.
