A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIIN

WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission of the City of Maheim did receive a vedfied Petition £or Varience fcom
RAY Wo GRIh1J, 1951 Ravista Lane, La Canada, California, Owner; bi. I.~ McGAUGHY, 2966 Lincoln,
Anaheim, California, Agent of certain r2a1 property situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, described as the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter
of the northwest quarter of Section 13, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San
Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as said Section is shown on a map recorded in book 51, page 7 of
Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the county secorder of said county. EXCEPT the West
198~00 feet thereof

WHEREAS, seid Commission, efter due inspection, investig4tion, astd study mede by itself and in ita behelf,
and after due consiueration of ell evidence and repods offeced as seid headng, does find end deteemine the following
facts: •
1. Thet the petitioner :equests a vedance from the Anehelm Municipel Code: SeCtion 18.32.060~ Which
limits structural height of one story within one hundred fifty (150) feet of a sinqle family
resider.t3a1 zone, and Section 18a32.090, which requires the establishment of a six (6) foot
masonry K~all along the south and west boundaries, to permit the establishment of a two-story
multiple family subdivision without constructi.on of the required block walls on subject
property~
2o That there are no exceptional or extraordinary circumstances or conditions
applicable to the property involved or to the~intended use of the property that do not apply
generally to the property or class of use in the same vicinity and zone.
3~ That the requested variance is not necessary for thy pxeservation and enjoyment of
a substantial property right possessed by other property in the same vicinity and zone, and
denied to the property in questiono
4~ That thQ sub3ect property, by location and size, is suitable for subdivision into
a low density residential development as indicated on Planning Study No. 45-11~t-4, Exhibit
Noo 2, approved by motion of the City Planning Commission on May 14, 1962, for single family
residential subdivisiono
5o That two persons appeared, one of whom represented twenty-eight (28) persons present
in the Council Chamber, in opposition to subject petition.
