A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT
PETITION FOR RECLASSIFICATION N0.62-63-105 BE DENIED
WHEREAS, !he City Planning Commission of the City of Aneheim did receive a vecified Petition for Recla'ssifica-
tionfrom GRACE II.IZABETH DICKERSON, 1608 East Lincoln Avenue, Anaheim, California, Owner;
MARQUIS Eo PITMAN, JRo9 1605 East South Street, Anaheim, California, Agent of certain real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as described
ir. Exhibit "A" attached hereto and referred to herein as though set forth in full

WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission did hold a public hearing et the City Hell in the City of Aneheim on
April 159 1963~ at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing having been duly given as required
by law and in eccordance with the ptovisions of the Aneheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18.72,to hearand consider evi-
dence for and against seid p:oposed reclessification end to investigate and make findings and cecommendations in
connection thetewith: and
WHEREAS, seid Commission, after due inspection, investigetion, end study made by itself and in its behelf,
end after due consideration of all evidence and ceports offered at seid hearing, does find and determine the followina
fects:
1. That the petitio~er proposes a reclassification of the e6ove described property fcom the R-A~ ReSidential
Agricu2turalY Zone to the R-3, Multiple Family Residential, Zone to establish a two-story
multiple family planned residential development.
2o That the proposed reclassification of subject property is not necessary and~or
desirable fcr the orderly and proper development of the coimnunity.
3o That the proposed develapment would be incompatible to the area, because subject
property is surrounded on three sides by low density single family residential developments.
4ā That the Commissian proposes the development of highway related coimnercial uses
for the northerly portion of subject property, and the balance of subject property, as pro-
3ected on the proposed General Plan, for low density residential development.
5a That three (3) persons appeared, representing fifty (50) persons present in the
Council Chamber, and a petition signed by eighty-five (85) persons was received in opposition
to subject petition~

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission does hereby recommend
:o the City Council of the City of Aneheim thet subject Petition for Reclnssification be denied on the basis of the
aforementioned findings.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this 15th day of April~ 1963.
