WHEREAS, the City Plartning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hell in the City of Analieim
on May 27~ 1963~ at 2:OC o'clock P.M., notice of seid publ, ~ l:eadng heving been duly given es tequired
by law and in acco~dence with the pcovisions of the .Anaheim Municipel Code, Chapter 18.68,1o hu~: a:.d consider
evidence for and egainst said proposed vnrience end to inves~igete end make findinge and recommendetions in connec-
tion theiewith; end
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due anapection, investlgetlon, and study mede by itself end in its behelE,
and after due consideraticn of all evidence end reporta offered as seid hearing, does find and determine the following
facts:
1. That the petitioner ceqeeste a veriance from the Aneheim Municipal Coda: SeCtion 18.32.120, Which
requires the construction of garages, to substitute carports in lieu thereof.
2, The: the:e ere exceptional or extreordiaary circumstesices os conditions epplicable to the property involved
or to the ?ntended u~e of the property that do not apply generfllly to the propecty or clesa of use in the aeme viciniry
and zone.
3. Thet the requested vecience is neceasery for the preservation and enjoyment of e substentiel property right
possessed by other property in the same vic3nity and zo~~e, end denied to the ptoperty in question.

Petitioa fot Ver_ance, upon the following conditions which a;e hereby found to be e necesAary prerequisite to the pm-
posed use of the subject property in order to preserve the safety r.ni7 general welfere of tke Citiaens of the City of
Anaheim.
1. That subject property.shall be developed substantially in accordance with plans and
specifications on file with.the.City of Mahe.iny marked.."Exhibit Nos. 1 and 2".
2. That the .interior walls of the proposed caroorts shal t ho ~+,~,.......a.~~_~ .

in the proposed carports, by suitable bumper guards or steel poles set in concrete, prior
to Final Building Inspection.
