WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim an
September 16~ 1963, at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public heacing having been duly given es required by
lew and in accordance with the provisions of the Aneheim Municipel code, Chepter 18.64, to hear and consider evidence
for end against said proposed conditionai uae end to investigate and make fiadings and recommendetions in connection
therewith; end
WHEREAS, said Commission, efter due inspection, investiga4ion, and study made by itsel: end in its behelf, and
efter due consideretion of ell evidence end reports offexed at seid hearing, does fittd and determiue :he following ferts:
1. That the proposed use is properly one for which u Conditional,Use Permit ie authodzed by this Code, to
wit: permit the establ3shs~ent of carports in lieu of garages on subject property.
2. That the proposed use will not edvecsely e#feM the adjoining lettd uses and the growth and development of
the area in which.it is proposed to be located.
3. That the size end shape of the site propoaed for the use is adequate to allow the full development of the
proposed ~se in a manner not detrimentel to the perticular a:ea nor to the peace, health, safety, and general welfare
of the Citizens o: the City of Anaheim. ,
4. TheR the gcenting of the Conditional Use Permit nnder the conditions imposed, if eny, wiil not be detrImental
to the peace, health, sefety, artd general welfere of the Citizens of the City of Anaheim.
5o That the request for waiver of the required lot widths and lot area made in
conjunction with Tentative Map of Tra~t No~ 4494 was continued for further consid~ration,
f~r clarification of the oronnsed subdivisi.~ry of ai.r. space.,
6o That under the authority of Codea Section 180640070, the installation of
parp~rts in lieu of garages is hereby grantedo
7. That the petitioner stipulated to finishing the interior of the carports,
installation of storage cabinets, and the installation of bumper guards. ~

Petition for Conditionel Use Permit, upon the following conditions which ere heseby found to be e necessary precequisite
to the proposed use of the subject properry in order to presecve the sefery and general welface of the Citizens of the
City of Anaheim:
lo That the rear and side walls of the proposed carports shall be finished with exterior
building materials, .that enclosed storage cabinets of a minimum dimension of 36 by 42 inches
high, running the entire width of each carport, shall be provided at the ~aall, and rear
that adequate bumper guards shall be provide.d to protect the interior walls of the carports,
prior to final building inspectiono
