October 14q 1963, et 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said publlc hearing having been duly given as required by
law and in accrocdance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chepter 18.68, to heer and consider evidence for
and ageinst seid proposed varience end~to investigete end meke finding's end recommendetions in connection therewith;

WHEREAS, said Commission, efter due inspection, investigatian, end study made by itselE end in its behalf,
and efter due conaideretion oE ell evidence end reports offeced es seid hearing, does find and determine the following
fects:
1. Thet the petitianer reqcests a varience from the elneheim Municipal Code: SeCtion 16032..060q which
stipulates a one-staxy height requ3rement9 180320080, whic'h prescribes side yard regulai.:ions9
and '18~3?,120 (1) which required 1-~ garages per dwelling unit, to permit the construction
of an apartment building with carports~
2o That the evidence p.resented to the Commission did not indicate any hardship or ot;ier
conditions that comply with variance requirementsy and that ob~ections were expressed
opposing R-3y within 150 feet of the R-Ay Residential Agricultural9 and the R-19 One Family
RESidentialy Zonesy in addition to complaitits concerning the proposed carport ].ocations~
3o THat a petition was ~presented i,~ith s3gnatures of 27 property owners in support of
the proposed develonmenty and that three persoris appea•red and one letter wfth two signatures
